Join / Renew U3A membership
Who can Join?
You must be over 50, and no longer working, or work no more than 20 hours per week. No educational qualifications are required. There are no examinations to be taken or certificates to be obtained.
What are the costs? (scroll down for payment details)
All leaders and board members give their time to their U3As voluntarily. Being a mutual self-help organisation, the costs of running U3A are kept very low.
Ordinary membership subscriptions for 2025 are $55 for a full year, $35 for half year if you join in term 3, and $15 if you join in term 4.
Members of other U3As may apply for affiliate membership at $35, and $15 if you join in Term 4 (supporting documentation must be provided).
Being a member entitles you to attend all courses at no extra cost, unless indicated by the group leader eg. small fee for course materials.

To submit a PAPER FORM for membership application
Click here to download the membership form, then print and fill in. If you do not have a printer, forms are available at Enfield Community Centre from 1st term 2025. Submit your form in person at the Centre, Wednesdays 9.30 – 10.30am during term time in 2025, or post it to PO Box 2008, Prospect, SA, addressed to ‘The Membership Officer’

As a new member, and once payment is received, you will receive an email stating your individual member ID number and password. This allows you to login to the database to enrol in classes and update your details as required.

PAYMENT
There are three methods of payment.
1. Pay through your bank online or in person (our preferred method).

Include “Reference” field using your name so we can match to your application e.g. “smithj” for John Smith.
2. Pay in person by cash during term time (Wed 9.30-10.30am). Please bring correct amount.
3. Pay by credit card through eWAY from within the database.
If you pay by methods 1 or 2 you will receive an email from the membership officer when your payment has been received and processed. If you pay through eWAY, a payment confirmation email will be sent automatically. Once confirmation of payment is received you are able to enrol in activities/classes, once the program for the year is available.
