Who can Join?
You must be over 50, and no longer working, or work no more than 20 hours per week. No educational qualifications are required. There are no examinations to be taken or certificates to be obtained.
What are the membership costs? (scroll down for payment details)
All leaders and board members give their time to their U3As voluntarily. Being a mutual self-help organisation, the costs of running U3A are kept low.
Fees for 2026 are as below:

- Ordinary – full voting rights and can attend any classes
- Affiliate – already a paid-up ordinary member at another U3A. Can attend classes but have no voting rights
Tutors/Leaders who do not attend other classes are ‘Honorary’ members and pay no fees.
Being a member entitles you to attend all courses at no extra cost, unless indicated by the group leader e.g. small fee for course materials or entrance fees for an outing.
Please note that you must be a paid-up U3A Inner North member before attending any classes or activities.
All U3A Inner North members are required to adhere to our Code of Conduct and have read and understood the Information for New Members

To join ONLINE (become a new member):
Complete your application via the “Join Online” button below, making note of your membership number, then check your email for;
- Your membership fee invoice, and follow the instructions to pay.
- Your welcome email which will include instructions on how to register and access the Member Portal so you can enrol in classes and maintain your contact details.

Submit your form in person at the Centre, Wednesdays 9.30 – 10.30am during term time in 2026, or post it to PO Box 2008, Prospect, SA, addressed to ‘The Membership Officer’.

Prior to Term 1, our in-person join/enrolment day is 12 January 2026 10am – 12pm at ECC.
RENEW MEMBERSHIP (if you are already a member from 2025)
Existing members will receive a membership renewal invoice via email in December each year with instructions for payment. You will also be able to see any outstanding fees owing via the Member Portal.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
To minimise administration, it would be appreciated if you could pay by card or direct deposit.
- Credit or Debit Card payments via your Member Portal or the Invoice which will be sent to you.
Note: No card fees are charged - Direct Deposit via your bank’s internet banking or in branch, to our bank.
Our bank details are shown in your Member Portal or the Invoice which will be sent to you. - Pay in person by cash during term times (Wed 9.30-10.30am). Please bring correct amount.
